Claude Desktop and Web
Add Sitechecker once as a custom connector for your Claude account and use it on the web, in Claude Desktop, or in Cowork. No terminal is needed. For Claude Code, see the separate guide.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Have a paid Sitechecker Basic, Standard, Premium, or Custom plan. Sitechecker trial accounts are not eligible.
Sitechecker uses OAuth sign-in, so no Sitechecker API key is required.
Claude Free also supports custom connectors, with a limit of one custom connector. The step-by-step sections below cover Pro/Max and Team/Enterprise. See Anthropic’s connector guide for current plan availability.
Pro or Max plan
Section titled “Pro or Max plan”-
Open Customize > Connectors.
-
Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
-
Enter Sitechecker as the name and this server URL, then click Continue:
https://mcp.sitechecker.pro/mcp -
Review the detected OAuth settings and click Continue.
-
Under Authentication, choose Sign in now. Under OAuth client, keep Use Claude’s published identity (Recommended). Leave Request headers empty.
-
Click Add, then sign in to Sitechecker and approve access when prompted.
Team or Enterprise plan
Section titled “Team or Enterprise plan”An Owner or Primary Owner adds the connector for the organization. On Enterprise, a person with a custom role that includes Manage access to Libraries can also add it.
The person adding it opens Organization settings > Connectors > Add > Custom > Web, then follows steps 3–6 above.
Each member opens Customize > Connectors, finds Sitechecker, and clicks Connect. Each member signs in with their own Sitechecker account.
Test the connection
Section titled “Test the connection”In a new chat, click + in the lower left, open Connectors, and turn on Sitechecker. Ask:
List my Sitechecker projects with their IDs.
Replace [ID] with an ID from the result and ask:
Show the latest Site Audit summary for project [ID].
